Liz Hayes Moody is former artist/designer/photographer @badliz. She hasn’t made much art in the past several years so it is about time for a rebrand.

Originally from Savannah, GA where she started creative label, HOUSE OF HAYES, with sister and collaborator Maggie Hayes back in 2011. The sisters moved the project to Philadelphia, PA where it became a physical venue space and hosted music events, art shows, freaky weirdo parties, workshops, and festivals. HxH then manifested as a self-titled quarterly arts and music publication which is available both online and in print on issuu.com.

HxH took a hiatus as Bad Liz relocated to NYC and worked random bar jobs, as an events manager for Nadine Johnson & Assoc. (fancy PR firm in Chelsea), and met her future husband backstage at Afropunk festival in 2016. Now she is living in Atlanta with her husband, James Rushton, new daughter, Penelope Loveless, and two dogs, Chimi and Suge. She is currently figuring out balancing motherhood, career, creative output, dog hikes, and household chores
